Rino Boschetti: A Small Workshop With a Long Reach
By Vintage Italian Bikes

Some of the most desirable Italian frames were never made in large numbers. They came out of small workshops where the builder knew every tube and a reputation was earned one rider at a time. Cicli Boschetti, in Marano sul Panaro near Modena, is one of them.
The Boschetti pieces in our collection span half a century. There are two 1970s steel framesets that left the workshop unpainted and were never built; a 1980s Columbus steel road bike now running as a Super Record singlespeed; and a custom frame in Columbus MS Multishape tubing, whose shaped tubes give each part of the frame its own profile.
Boschetti also built for speed. An Altec aluminum lo-pro time-trial bike came straight from the builder, and a Columbus SLX crono frameset built in 2024 is one of the last frames made from the workshop's remaining SLX tubing. Then there is the early-1990s prototype, reinforced at both ends of the top tube and fitted with Sistem Bos pedals developed with mechanic Giorgio Siligardi, whose handmade saddles also appear in our parts collection.
If you would like to know more about a particular Boschetti, its history or how it rides, write to us. Half the pleasure of a frame like this is its story.
