Rino Boschetti met the naïf painter Brenno Benatti at an exhibition in Bologna and asked him to turn one of his bicycles into a work of art. Benatti spent six weeks on this top-of-the-range Boschetti, painting 13 scenes of rural Italy and the farming year across the frame, detailed down to the shadows of the trees. The bike then stayed in Boschetti's private office for many years, and it remains in mint condition.
A collector, gallery or enthusiast looking for a genuine one-of-one: the centerpiece of a collection or display.
